The SCT-1042 features separate clean and dirty water tanks, allowing fresh water to be used for cleaning while extracted dirty water is collected separately. The 2.4L clean water tank and 1.5L dirty water tank provide practical capacity for cleaning larger areas without constantly stopping to refill or empty the machine.

For carpets and hard floors, the cleaner uses two rotating floor brushes to agitate and lift dirt while the machine simultaneously extracts the dirty water. This helps provide a deeper clean compared with conventional dry vacuuming alone.
